
Research has shown that very young children can develop an awareness of pitch and musical concepts. If left untapped, this natural feeling for music may never be developed. It is our goal to provide step-by-step musical training, which will aid the child's growth and development and enhance all future musical activities.
Children learn the basic building blocks of music through ear training, solfege singing, piano playing ensemble and rhythm activities, movement, and musical creativity. "Inner ear" development aids instruction of transposition and improvisation. Parents or caregivers share in the group experience. Classes meet 55 minutes weekly.
